Check out the first four pages of Max Landis’ Fantastic Four script

So Josh Trank's FANTASTIC FOUR opened a few days ago and…yea, not much more to say about that. It's a definite shame that Fox can't get Fantastic Four to work but as was reported this morning, they still seem set on continuing on with the franchise; oh well. Max Landis, who scripted Josh Trank's CHRONICLE, took the opportunity to post the first four pages of his own Fantastic Four script on Twitter earlier today.

Landis makes mention that the script was written four years ago but was never done for anything other than pure fun. You can check it out for yourself below.

Right off the bat I can say that it's quite refreshing that Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm are already quite familiar with each other. It's not specified whether the foursome have already received their abilities (perhaps this launch is sending them on their way to that fateful encounter) but I'd like to think so, we really don't need another origin film.

What say you? I know four pages do not a movie make, but is there any potential in Max Landis' script?

FANTASTIC FOUR is currently in theaters, but so is MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION…just saying.
