The upcoming Netflix series ALTERED CARBON is something I haven't heard anything about until today. The series is based on Richard K. Morgan’s 2002 cyberpunk novel and today we have the show's trailer.

Evidently, the 10-episode first season will be hitting the streaming service on February 2 and stars new ROBOCOP Joel Kinnaman and SOLOMON KANE himself James Purefoy.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below and then make sure to let us know if this is something you'll be checking out in February in the comments below or on social media.

Synopsis:

In the distant future, human consciousness can be digitized and downloaded into different bodies. Brought back to life after 250 years by Laurens Bancroft (James Purefoy) the richest man on Earth, ex-Envoy soldier Takeshi Kovacs (Joel Kinnaman / Will Yun Lee) must solve Bancroft’s attempted murder for the chance to live again in a world he doesn’t recognize.

The series is written and executive produced by Laeta Kalogridis (SHUTTER ISLAND), directed by Miguel Sapochnik (REPO MEN), and stars Joel Kinnaman, James Purefoy, Martha Higareda, Renee Elise Goldsberry, Dichen Lachman, and Will Yun Lee.

ALTERED CARBON hits Netflix on February 2, 2018.
