Fans of 24 can breathe easy as Mary Lynn Rajskub has just been announced to return to the show for its limited series run as the feisty computer analyst, Chloe O’Brian, who ended up becoming the requisite sidekick to Kiefer Sutherland‘s Jack Bauer and a staple to the 24 brand.
“I am thrilled to be working with Howard (Gordon) and the writers again – and, of course, Kiefer!,” said Rajskub. “There’s a lot more room to grow in my character…I’m going to start sharpening my computer skills now!”

So far, only Sutherland and Rajskub have been announced as returning to the limited series iteration of the show, but I’d expect to get a few more old favorites back. However, that’s a very short list, as the show was renowned for killing off the most beloved and hated castmembers from season to season. Still, it’s great to have the best of the “survivors” back on board.
24: Live Another Day is set to debut in the fall of 2014.
