Last week, Paramount Pictures started releasing character posters for their latest Star Trek venture, STAR TREK BEYOND. We've seen most of the Enterprise crew and even a new player in Sofia Boutella's Jaylah, but now it's time to bring in the two leads. I'm, of course, referring to Chris Pine's Captain Kirk and Idris Elba's Krall. Check 'em out!

There's not too much known about the plot of BEYOND, aside from the fact that the Enterprise crew travels to " the furthest reaches of uncharted space, where they encounter a mysterious new enemy." That's more or less the synopsis for most Trek shows, but Simon Pegg did state that this film will fall closer in line with that than rehashing classic Trek history. If anyone can make Krall's face villanious, it's Idris Elba!

STAR TREK BEYOND hits theaters on July 22, 2016.
