Christopher Lee Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster figures coming from Trick or Treat Studios

Trick or Treat Studios is known for “producing some of the best masks, costumes, props, and collectibles on the market”, and if you’re a fan of the Hammer horror classics they have a special treat for you this year. Two treats, actually. As part of this year’s ToyFair, Trick or Treat has announced that they’re releasing 1/6 scale figures based on two iconic characters Hammer cast the legendary Christopher Lee to play: Dracula, who Lee played seven times for Hammer, and Frankenstein’s Monster, a role he took on in 1957’s The Curse of Frankenstein.

The video where the Dracula and Frankenstein’s Monster figures were unveiled can be seen below, along with a couple images courtesy of All Hallows Geek. In the video, we learn the Dracula figure will come with an alternative head and additional hands. The Monster figure doesn’t seem to come with extra pieces like that, but it is said that “this figure is going to be the ultimate collectible for any Hammer horror fan.”

Pre-orders for these two figures are expected to begin sometime in the summer of 2022.

The Curse of Frankenstein had the following synopsis:

Victor Frankenstein (Peter Cushing) is a brilliant scientist willing to stop at nothing in his quest to reanimate a deceased body. After alienating his longtime friend and partner, Paul Krempe (Robert Urquhart), with his extreme methods, Frankenstein assembles a hideous creature (Christopher Lee) out of dead body parts and succeeds in bringing it to life. But the monster is not as obedient or docile as Frankenstein expected, and it runs amok, resulting in murder and mayhem.

I won’t list the synopses for the Dracula movies because there were so many of them. Lee played Dracula for Hammer in Horror of Dracula, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Taste the Blood of Dracula, Scars of Dracula, Dracula A.D. 1972, and The Satanic Rites of Dracula.
