If you thought New Poster Day was a once-a-year holiday, you’re mistaken. It’s a holiday that lands ever month or so, and sometimes (if you’ve been a good boy or girl), it will hit more than once a month. Apparently February’s New Poster Day is today, as earlier I showed you a bloody valentine poster (HERE) and a boring horsemen poster (HERE), and now… we have a look at the official U.S. poster for THE MUTANT CHRONICLES!
Starring Thomas Jane, Ron Perlman, Devon Aoki (below), and John Malkovich, THE MUTANT CHRONICLES is aiming to hit limited theaters this April after a short run on pay cable’s Video-On-Demand, a move that seems a bit back-asswards, but what the hell do I know? STYD scored the new official one-sheet, which is similar (if not practically identical) to the previous one-sheet’s we’ve seen thus far for the flick. And considering the poster’s pretty badass, that’s probably a good thing!
In short, CHRONICLES is about 23rd century soldier Major Mitch Hunter as he leads a fight against an army of underworld NecroMutants. Cool man, I can dig it…can you?
