CHILD'S PLAY creator Don Mancini has just released a teaser trailer for his upcoming CHUCKY TV show – airing on SYFY and USA – through his official Instagram account, which you can see at the top of the article.
Of course, it doesn't show much footage (and seems to be fully CG, which the show itself won't be), but it still looks stylish and fun. Hopefully the show itself will be as well.
Here's the official synopsis:
After a vintage Chucky doll turns up at a suburban yard sale, an idyllic American town is thrown into chaos as a series of horrifying murders begin to expose the town’s hypocrisies and secrets. Meanwhile, the arrival of enemies — and allies — from Chucky’s past threatens to expose the truth behind the killings, as well as the demon doll’s untold origins as a seemingly ordinary child who somehow became this notorious monster.
Meanwhile, CHUCKY – with Brad Dourif and Jennifer Tilly reprising their roles – will be airing on SYFY and USA sometime next year! We'll keep you posted when the official date is announced.
