Cinemax developing District 9-esque series The Sector

Hot on the heels of the news that Cinemax, which is getting into the original series game, will be developing a show based on THE TRANSPORTER films comes the news that they’re also getting into business with the Scott brothers – Ridley and Tony – for “The Sector”, a show that has major ass-kick potential.

Described as a cross between DISTRICT 9 and BLADE RUNNER, “The Sector” tracks the commander of a paramilitary unit who pursues a dangerous new race of genetically-enhanced humans.
