Back at the beginning of February I told you all about an alien invasion flick heading our way from director Gareth Edwards called MONSTERS. I don’t know about you guys but I was instantly intrigued. So when news broke today on a variety of MONSTERS updates I figured I’d share it with all of you!
You see today finds three seperate updates for the film: a detailed synopsis, a couple stills and a teaser clip! Nice! First thing’s first. Above and below you’ll find two stills for MONSTERS, both seemingly setting the tone of the film. Does that shot above actually give us a glimpse as to what these ‘monsters’ might look like? Also below you’ll find a pretty cool clip from the film courtesy of Twitch. The clip shows a bunch of people on a boat witnessing an unknown disturbance in the water… What could it be? Six years ago NASA discovered the possibility of alien life within our solar system. A probe was launched to collect samples, but crashed upon re-entry over Central America. Soon after new life forms began to appear there and half of Mexico was quarantined as an “Infected Zone.”
Today, the American and Mexican military still struggle to contain “the creatures”… The story begins when a US journalist agrees to escort a shaken American tourist through the infected zone in Mexico to the safety of the US border.
