Our fellow horror brothers over at Dread Central posted an exclusive treat for MASTERS OF HORROR fans late last night in the form of shots from Larry Cohen’s entry, Pick Me Up.
Cohen, for those who need reminding, was the mind behind the B-movie THE STUFF, the remake of INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS (the second one), the MANIAC COP series and more recently PHONE BOOTH. The story for Pick Me Up involves two men, one who kills serial killers and the other a hitchhiker who kills anyone who picks him up, and the woman caught between them. The episode airs on Showtime on Friday, January 20th at 10PM, so get your VCR or DVDR ready, unless of course you want to wait for Anchor Bay to get around to releasing it with all the goodies you’d expect, like these two.
