It’s been almost a year since we got an update on French horror/comedy LES DENTS DE LA NUIT (THE TEETH OF THE NIGHT), or VAMPIRE PARTY as it’s known in the US. Almost a year since an update? Damn! Well that changes today!
Dark Sky Films scored the rights to release VAMPIRE PARTY here in the US and will be dropping this bad boy onto DVD shelves November 17th! Check out the DVD art above! That’s not all either. Over in our videos section we’ve got the VAMPIRE PARTY international trailer as well as a couple clips from the flick. Unfortunately all three videos are in French but it’s still pretty easy to see what we’ve got to look forward to. I didn’t understand a word of it but I’m pretty sure there’s some hilarious crude humor in there.
Here’s the synopsis for VAMPIRE PARTY: A group of friends are ready to do anything to attend the most prestigious, secretive and exclusive party of the year taking place in a sumptuous and isolate castle. As they try anything to get in, they don’t know that the bloody line continues behind the velvet ropes…
They do manage to get into the party, and this is going to be an unforgettable night. Because the party is in fact a vampire gathering, and they are the buffet! Needless to say there will be a lot of necking.
Happily for them, those vampires are not as sharp as their teeth. Still, the little group will have to fight from dusk ’til dawn to get out alive.
The film comes from the directing duo of Stephen Cafiero and Vincent Lobelle and stars Patrick Mille, Frédérique Bel (below), Julie Fournier, Vincent Desagnat, Sam Karmann, Hélène de Fougerolles and Antoine Duléry.
