JoBlo and I and…well… some fire…
Another year, another
San Diego Comic Con
(can’t believe this was like my 8th year attending it – f*ck I’m getting old)
and another BIG HIT (in my eyes anyways). This year we put more emphasis on
VIDEO and as per usual tried to put out the content with an axis on information
and fun. The mucho back-up definitely helped in making my Con a memorable one.
You see, King Joblo brought in his JoBlo.com motley crew of staffers on this
round. I’m talking; Jim Law, Johnny Moreno, Jenny Karakaya and Mike Sampson.
They worked hard and played hard! All good peeps in my book! I even got too hook up
with AITH/JoBlo.com alumni JimmyO this year; a class act as per usual!
Now although the panels were fairly underwhelming
(was it just me), I still had a couple of “fanboy delight” highlights
(The Mist clip, the Pathology trailer, the Thomas Jane meet…) that made it all
worthwhile. And man did they
double up on the parties this year or what! How many shin-digs can there be at a freaking Comic
Convention…WOW! (you can check out a ton of pics from those parties RIGHT HERE). So with that gunned out, here’s a recap of the genre related
