Sometimes… Dead is Better.
Starting next Wednesday, November 14th, Fright-Rags will be releasing Part One of their upcoming Officially Licensed PET SEMATARY Collection! The all-new collection features four killer new designs by Ralf Krause, Kyle Crawford, and Abrar Ajmal featuring Judd ("Stay outta that rowd") Crandall, Victor (dead af) Pascow, the walking bed-ridden nightmare herself Zelda and of course, cute little Gage and Church!
This line is (obviously) based on the 1989 version of the novel by Stephen King directed by Mary Lambert and starring Dale Midkiff, Fred Gwynne, Denise Crosby, and Miko Hughes. But that said, leave it up to good old Fright-Rags to bring us some kick-ass merch based on the upcoming remake early next year. And speaking of the upcoming remake, it's written by Jeff Buhler and follows:
Dr. Louis Creed (Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
Directed by the STARRY EYES duo of Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer, the PET SEMATARY remake stars Jason Clarke, Amy Seimetz, Hugo Lavoie, Lucas Lavoie, Jeté Laurence, Obssa Ahmed, Alyssa Brooke Levine, and John Lithgow.
