Cool Horror Video: R-Rated Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Corridor Crew are a VFX house that have their own popular YouTube channel. They've been around for a while, and have even had some viral success, such as their "VFX ARTISTS REACT" series, as well as their "WHAT IF_________WAS RATED-R?" series. They have already done "RATED-R MARVEL" and "RATED-R HOME ALONE", now they're putting their Rated-R spin on Gene Wilder's WILLY WONKA AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (as if that boat ride scene didn't make the movie freaky enough…)

Like all their stuff, this is very visually – and technically – impressive. It's also extremely gruesome, with Augustus Gloop getting exploded by chocolate pressure definitely being an audacious and well-crafted highlight. Veruca Salt's ragdoll demise is also pretty great.

On top of that, they've also recently uploaded a "making of" companion video (something they do for all their videos like this), and it's fascinating the work and craft that goes into something like this. If you were curious to see how they pulled some of the stuff off, check out this video below as well:

So what do you guys think? If you liked it, what was your favorite kill? Either way, sound off below!
