MAMA is coming to theaters January 18th. To give you an idea of what to expect from the ghostly tale, producer Guillermo del Toro has released the short film that inspired the feature. Not only that, but he’s also recorded an intro for the video.
If you enjoy the following three minute bit of terror it’s safe to say you’ll also enjoy the long-form version of MAMA when it haunts theaters. Both films are directed by Andres Muschietti, though the feature stars Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Megan Charpentier and Isabelle Nélisse. Get a quick glimpse of MAMA below and mark your calendar for her big screen debut next month.
