A few years ago, we shared a Christmas-themed horror short called CHRISTMAS PRESENCE, which was directed by independent filmmaker Henrique Couto. If you missed CHRISTMAS PRESENCE, take a trip back in time to watch it at THIS LINK… Then come back here, because Couto has now released another Christmas-themed short.

Titled STIRRING, this one stars Joni Durian and has the following synopsis:

On Christmas Eve a young woman finally gets into the Holiday spirit with a brand new tree… that contains a creature that is doing more than stirring…

Running just under 4 minutes, STIRRING provides a quick and fun dose of holiday horror, with strange things taking place in a snow-coated, colorfully lit location while Christmas music plays on the soundtrack, a fire crackles in the fireplace, and an adorable dog takes a nap. One of many great scary short films to enjoy this time of year.
