Alfred Hitchcock’s NORTH BY NORTHWEST is one of the greatest thrillers of all time. STAR WARS is one of the greatest sci-fi films of all time. Naturally these movies are two peas in a pod, and what better way to prove that then by taking NORTHWEST’s most iconic scene (and one of the most famous in cinema history, in fact) and mesh it with a galaxy far, far away. What you have is Cary Grant watching C-3PO on Tatooine all before having to outrun a TIE fighter. The result is two pieces of cinema gold coming together to form some other valuable element that we can’t even handle. Probably that rock stuff they’re mining in AVATAR.
