Yay! I have loved animator David Firth's work since the halcyon days of Newgrounds back in the early '00s! I especially loved his popular SALAD FINGERS series, but that wasn't all he was known for. In fact, many of Firth's other animations – which delved even deeper into darker and more surreal Lynchian nightmare imagery – were superior to SALAD FINGERS in many ways.
Which is why I'm excited for Firth's new, upcoming animation SOCKSIX, which boasts a lengthy 15-minute runtime! For now, however, you can check out the preview for it at the top of the article! Meanwhile, the song heard over the trailer is "A Constant Repose" by Adam Weikert.
So what do you guys think? Also fan of Firth's work? If so, what do you think of SOCKSIX so far? Either way, sound off below!
