Ever since The Alamo Drafthouse did that no texting PSA following that dumb chick getting kicked out of their theaters, similar PSAs with the same message have been popping up. This one is from none other than Alfred Hitchcock– I mean…Anthony Hopkins in character as Alfred Hitchcock.
The quality isn’t amazing, but it’s funny to wonder what directors pre-cell phones/the inappropriate texting epidemic would have thought of the technology disrupting their pictures. “I paid 25 cents to see this!” As a side note, the trailer for HITCHCOCK was fantastic. So fantastic that I forgot that Toby Jones was taking on the same role. I bet most of you forgot well before that.
