While this is not technically a video, IndieWire has posted a YouTube video for the first single from Mary Elizabeth Winstead‘s upcoming album with producer Dan the Automator. Their group will go by the name Got a Girl and will follow in the footsteps of recent actress/musician collaborations such as She & Him featuring Zooey Deschanel, and Scarlett Johansson‘s album with Pete Yorn.

While Scarlett and Zooey have a more indie feel to their music, Mary Elizabeth Winstead has a nice electronic/R&B feel to it. I am a big fan of Dan the Automator’s Handsome Boy Modeling School and Lovage projects, and this sounds like it is in line with those. Plus, hearing Winstead’s sultry voice through headphones ain’t so bad. Not bad at all. Give it a listen below.
