Cool Videos: Dragons in Movies Supercut!

While we soak in our first glimpse of the titular dragon Smaug in THE HOBBIT: THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, what better time to reflect on the various dragons we’ve seen in film throughout the years? This excellent supercut from Leigh Singer features a round up of the various scaled fire-breathers we’ve seen throughout the years from Harry Hausen to Sean Connery. There’s an allure about dragons that never ceases to amaze and when done right they can be an amazing cinematic spectacle.
