Cool Videos: Fifty Shades as narrated by Morgan Freeman (NSFW)

Having now watched this video, I am now convinced that there is nothing more sure to put a smile on my face than hearing Morgan Freeman speak the phrase “kinky f***ery” in his nochalant way.

And while in this case it isn’t actually Morgan Freeman speaking but rather actor/comedian Josh Robert Thompson, it would be awfully hard to tell just by listening. The guy is very good indeed at what he does (check him out on The Late Late Show talking with Morgan Freeman right here), and his narration of the FIFTY SHADES series both makes it immeasurably better and reveals its utter absurdity at the exact same time. The excerpts are interspersed with some improvised comedy from Thompson that is fairly funny, and all in all I think we can agree that the planned movie version of the series should definitely make use of Morgan Freeman narration. It should, in fact, possibly be nothing but Morgan Freeman narration. I’d watch that. I would though.
