Cool Videos: Funny Walking Dead zombie attack prank scares NYC pedestrians

AMC's The Walking Dead will be back from its break in a couple of days, and to help promote the return of their hit show, the network recently did a funny prank in New York City. They stuck a bunch of extras in zombie (excuse me, "walker") makeup under a sidewalk grate in the city, and attempted to scare the shit out of the unsuspecting people walking above. It's pretty hilarious to see how people react to a zombie reaching out to them from under the streets as they go about their business in the Big Apple.

It seems stunts like these have become a popular way to promote something. Last year there was the telekinetic prank done for CARRIE at a coffee shop, DEVIL'S DUE freaked out New Yorkers with a devil baby earlier this year, and a few weeks ago a fan of The Walking Dead scared Norman Reedus with the help of Andrew Lincoln. I always love a good prank, and I think you'll get a kick out of watching these people jump and/or shriek when they discover what's lurking below their feet.
