Most of us are have been soaking in our upteenth viewing of THE AVENGERS since it hit blu-ray/DVD/digital yesterday and revelling in the awesomeness all over again. Others are spotting weak areas they overlooked before. Either way, THE AVENGERS mania continues, so this perfectly-timed Honest Trailer is a fun little jab at our obsession and actually brings up a few good points.
I don’t agree with everything that’s in the video (Captain America IS and always has been my personal favorite character), but I there are definitely some agreeable nods to be had after watching this, particularly how everyone is talking to one another during the end battle, but without any type of visible earpieces. I mean, sure, it’s SHIELD and all, but it’s as if they just said, “Who cares? They’re Avengers. The earpieces are invisible or implanted or there’s a psychic on the hellicarrier creating a psychic bridge or some shit. Whatever. Explosions.”
I still love the movie, but this is good times:
