The title has officially changed from A COUPLE OF DICKS to COP OUT, but the Bruce Willis/Tracy Morgan team-up seems otherwise intact.
Maybe the original title was more appropriate — I thought this new trailer was more unbearably juvenile than entertaining. But your mileage may vary, particularly if you’re among director Kevin Smith’s legions of fans. Check it out below or head on over to Apple for the HD version.
The official synopsis: Two longtime NYPD partners on the trail of a stolen, rare, mint-condition baseball card find themselves up against a merciless, memorabilia-obsessed gangster. Jimmy (Bruce Willis) is the veteran detective whose missing collectible is his only hope to pay for his daughter’s upcoming wedding, and Paul (Tracy Morgan) is his “partner-against-crime” whose preoccupation with his wife’s alleged infidelity makes it hard for him to keep his eye on the ball.
