For all my BOY MEETS WORLD fans, this will make your heart smile.
Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel has signed on to play Cory and Topanga Matthews in the BOY MEETS WORLD sequel series, GIRL MEETS WORLD. YAY! Here’s another time when I can do my Kermit flailing happy dance.
The new series picks up a decade after the ending of the original series. As you all know, Cory and Topanga are married. Cory is a teacher, and their daughter, Riley is the 13-year old lead. Currently there is a search being done to find the new female star of the show.
Mr. Feeny must come back now. Along with Shawn and Eric. Maybe Jack and Minkus.
I’m really not against any of this, especially since they are getting the original players. It’s also nice to know that BOY MEETS WORLD creator and producer Michael Jacobs is the one developing. They are still in the very early stages so it will be awhile before you see it on the Disney Channel.
