Could be, could not be concept art to Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel.

RIDLEY SCOTT is presently hard at work on his ALIEN PREQUEL (slated to hit the screens in late 2011 or early 2012) and now some maybe, maybe not concept art has just chestbursted online. Check it below! Now, it does look like the Space Jockey from ALIEN , but is it Ridley Scott’s Space Jockey? Time will tell.

Here’s what the ALIEN PREQUEL will be about, straight out of Ridley’s mouth: “It will be set in 2085, about 30 years before Ellen Ripley is born. It’s fundamentally about going out to find out ‘Who the hell was that Space Jockey?’ The guy who was sitting in the chair in the alien vehicle – there was a giant fellow sitting in a seat on what looked to be either a piece of technology or an astronomer’s chair. Remember that?”
