Normally here at AITH we try and stay away from rumors… they just don’t really serve much of a purpose. He said this, but she said that… We usually wait for the solid facts on something before we pass it along to all of you. But this little tidbit today is just too good to pass up…
According to The Quentin Tarantino Archives, a couple of Austrian tabloids are reporting that Quentin Tarantino is planning a short stay in Vienna, Austria to visit several castles. Why? Well because he’s scouting for his upcoming DRACULA flick of course! Heh… Heh…
You see where this can be blown out of proportion right? None of these supposed sources really pinpoint where it was confirmed that Tarantino was scouting for a new flick, hell the dude could just be there for vacation. So be sure to take this news with a big grain of salt!
But what do you guys think? Would you be down for a Tarantino directed DRACULA flick? … Well…. duh! Of course you would! Tarantino has torn it up all along the border of our beloved genre, so why not dive right in? If there’s any director I’d love to see bring out a vicious vampire flick to rival all this TWI-crap… well who better?
Mind you this is probably wishful thinking on my part, or our parts as I’m sure a lot of you are thinking the same thing I am. Then again Tarantino seems to always be bouncing around regarding his next project, so maybe it’s not so impossible? You guys remember how quick INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS came to be? Just some food for thought…
Of course when we get an update regarding Tarantino and this supposed DRACULA flick we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
