Variety dropped some news regarding the Thomas Jane directed flick DARK COUNTRY this morning–it seems as though we’ll be able to catch the film in theaters once the sucker is finally released!
Nu Image holds the international distribution to the film, but Sony Pictures holds the domestic distribution, and they’re planing on releasing the film theatrically through one of their third-party branches. Sweet!
Not only does Jane direct this flick, which is apparently going to be released in 3D, but he also stars alongside Chris Browning, Lauren German (below), Nikki Kelly, and Ron Perlman. DARK COUNTRY goes a little something like this: A couple en route from Las Vegas are forced to deal with a body out in the desert making their honeymoon one hellish ride.
This sucker sounds like a blast, as a) it’s in 3D, b) it’s set in the desert, and c) it’s directed by and stars Thomas f*cking Jane! What more could you possibly ask for in a movie?
