The last update we gave you all on Chan-wook Park’s THIRST was a couple weeks ago and involved the banned poster you see to the right. Well today we’ve got a look at two, count em two new trailers for the international flick!
The first trailer below is courtesy of our very own videos section and is the second trailer released over in Korea. You can go ahead and click through below to check that out. The second trailer comes from the guys over at Twitch and is pegged as the ‘final’ trailer for the film. You can go ahead and click below to see that one.
Both look groovy to me but THIRST just isn’t jumping out at me. But alas it’s written and directed by Chan-wook Park so it’s worth giving a shot. Seo-Gyeong Jeong co-wrote the script with Park. THIRST stars Eriq Ebouaney, Kang-ho Song, Ha-kyun Shin, Ok-bin Kim, Dal-su Oh, and Mercedes Cabral. Here’s the dark synopsis for you all: Beloved and devoted priest from a small town volunteers for a medical experiment which fails and turns him into a vampire. Physical and psychological changes lead to his affair with a wife of his childhood friend who is repressed and tired of her mundane life. The one-time priest falls deeper in despair and depravity. As things turns for worse, he struggles to maintain whats left of his humanity.
THIRST is set to hit Korean theaters on April 30th. No word on a US release so keep it here for updates!
