When civilization is hit with the outbreak of a new lethal virus, the results are swift, chaotic, and deadly, throwing the world into further crisis. Personally, I'm not sure I'm in the mood for a film exploiting the very real Covid pandemic – and the extreme critical backlash to the last pandemic thriller, Songbird – proves I'm not alone in thinking that.
