Craig’s Dream House

JoBloJoBlo

We all may have accepted Daniel Craig fully as James Bond after two films, but he’ll be damned if he’s going to be typecast because of it. His next movie will be a psychological thriller called DREAM HOUSE, which fortunately is not about the ins and outs of renovating a quaint old Victorian.

Rather the film is about a New York publisher who moves his family to small East Coast town, but learns that his house was the scene of a violent murder. So yes, it does sound rather like an updated AMITYVILLE HORROR with a slightly older buff, charming guy as the lead. The film is from director Jim Sheridan, who you may remember, recently directed the 50 Cent vehicle, GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN’. But I guess we can forgive him for that, due to his six previous Oscar nominations.

Craig is vacationing from Bond by starring on Broadway opposite Hugh Jackman in “A Steady Rain,” the two of them combining to make what must be the most badass Broadway play of all time. Shooting on DREAM HOUSE starts the January, and we’ll be anticipating more info until then.
