Fresh off the boat that was RED EYE, Wes Craven is set to dip into the thriller waters again with HOME, which would be produced by Craven’s production company Craven/Maddalena Films, according to Hollywood Reporter. Craven will act as executive producer, while partner Marianne Maddalena will fill in the producer spot.
Written by Adam Alleca, the story for HOME follows a man, fresh out of prison and under provisional house arrest in a cabin in the woods, who struggles with his own psychological delusions. Yep, sounds like it’s right up Craven’s alley.
Of course, this isn’t Craven’s next effort. Rather the opposite, as Craven right now is filming a part for the compilation film PARIS, JE T’AIME, a romance piece where twenty filmmakers will bring their own personal touch, underlining the wide variety of styles, genres, encounters and the various atmospheres and lifestyles that prevail in the neighborhoods of Paris.
