Crawlspace trailer: Henry Thomas thriller has been given a digital release

Last September, we heard that  L. Gustavo Cooper‘s thriller Crawlspace, starring Henry Thomas (Midnight Mass), had been acquired by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. Crawlspace has since been given a digital release – you can watch it on Amazon at THIS LINK – and to help you decide whether or not this is a movie you would like to watch we have embedded the film’s trailer at the top of this article.

Scripted by Jacob D. Wehrman, Crawlspace centers on

a family man who must fight for survival when he finds himself trapped in the crawlspace of a remote Oregon cabin, where ruthless poachers have stashed their fortune.

Thomas is joined in the cast by Jennifer Robertson (Schitt’s Creek), Olivia Taylor Dudley (The Magicians), Bradley Stryker (Let Him Go), Catherine Lough Haggquist (Fifty Shades of Grey) and C. Ernst Harth (To All the Boys: Always and Forever).

Crawlspace was produced by Steven Paul and Scott Karol of SP Media Group, with Wonder Street Entertainment’s Alejandro Brugues, Mark Holder, Christine Holder, and Andrew Wilson executive producing.

Cooper, who was a professional skateboarder and discovered his passion for filmmaking while shooting skate videos, had this to say about Crawlspace:

From the beginning, I saw the movie as fun action/thriller. I couldn’t help but think of my father. I spent summers working under houses in crawlspaces with my Dad who did termite restoration and I loved the idea of this movie being set in that space. For me, this movie is about a good guy having the worst day of his life. All he wants to do is get home to his wife and kid to make things right. He’s you, he’s me, he’s everyman.”

Crawlspace definitely looks like a movie I might enjoy watching based on this trailer, so I will be checking it out as soon as possible. Will you be watching it? Let us know by leaving a comment below.
