Crazy trailer for Rigor Mortis, from Juno Mak and Takashi Shimizu

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Here’s a nice slice of insanity for you, Korean style: the domestic trailer for RIGOR MORTIS, which comes from director Juno Mak and producer Takashi Shimizu (THE GRUDGE). This movie has looked batshit since we brought you THIS clip last year, and the new preview does nothing to dispel the notion that we may have something special here with Mr. Mak, who makes his directorial debut on the picture.

Well Go USA will be distributing the thriller June 6th on VOD and theatrically in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, Honolulu, Houston, Lubbock, and Toronto, with additional cities to be announced.

A washed-up actor, desperate and suicidal, moves into a haunted apartment building where supernatural creatures, ghost hunters, taoist exorcists, and the souls of the undead are among his neighbors.

RIGOR MORTIS stars Chin Siu-Ho, Kara Wai, Nina Paw, Anthony “Friend” Chan, Lo Hoi, Pang, Richard Ng.
