Curious George origin story on the way

Now, I know what you’re thinking…another origin story? One of my colleagues even quipped, “Like…how he got his powers of being curious?”

Well, turns out it’s the origin of the true story of CURIOUS GEORGE. No, The Man in the Yellow Hat was not a real person per se, but instead will about the true story of authors H.A. and Margaret Rey protecting their CURIOUS GEORGE manuscript, while fleeing Nazis in occupied Europe. So, it’s more like GOODBYE, CHRISTOPHER ROBIN (which tells the origins of the stories themselves) than the upcoming CGI-fest POOH remake – which coincidentally, CURIOUS GEORGE has a big-budget live-action film at Universal on the way as well.

CURIOUS GEORGE has inspired millions across generations, so hopefully the film does the story justice.

So any fans of CURIOUS GEORGE out there? And if so, what do you think of focusing on the creators? Either way, sound off below!
