James Patterson is a pretty damn good writer. The man is the brain behind some badass stories, including ALONG CAME A SPIDER, KISS THE GIRLS, MAXIMUM RIDE, and WOMEN’S MURDER CLUB.
Well according to Variety, another of Patterson’s books are set to make the jump to the big screen via New Regency. This time it’s THE DANGEROUS DAYS OF DANIEL X.
DANGEROUS DAYS chronicles the adventures of a conflicted yet extraordinary teen who yearns to discover secrets about himself and his family as he battles alien outlaws who threaten life on Earth.
It’s described as an ‘action adventure’ but seems to have some sci-fi elements thrown in. Seems like Patterson’s definately got a wide range when it comes to his novels, huh?
DANGEROUS DAYS isn’t even on shelves yet (that happens this July) and it’s already got a film in the works as well as a graphic novel set for the end of the year… that’s got to say something, right?
Patterson, Steve Bowen and Leopoldo Gout are all set to executive produce. Interesting to see who they get to helm this one. We’ll keep you updated.
The gorgeous Ashley Judd starred in KISS THE GIRLS.
