Dark Country stills

The more I learn about Thomas Jane’s DARK COUNTRY, the more I want to see it. It’s got a killer cast, an eerie setting, and one cool-seeming killer nicknamed “Bloodyface”. And today, I’ve got just a couple more images to tempt your tummies.

Up top we’ve got Mr. Jane looking like his usual bad-ass self. Notice that tat on his right forearm? A sure sign of a bad mofo. The image below is even better with Jane again as well as the gorgeous Lauren German, I think. Notice the red object down in the ditch that they’re staring at? Good stuff! Oh, and did I mention that Ron Perlman is in it too?!

Time to take a shot at the plot: Dick and Gina meet in Las Vegas, decide to get married and set out on a road trip across the desert. Along the way, they come across a mangled accident victim and try to help him, but “Bloodyface” instead turns their vacation into a nightmare.

This is Jane’s big-time directorial debut and I’m looking forward to seeing how he shoots. DARK COUNTRY will be out on DVD on October 6th.
