Dark Days helmer Ben Ketai to direct Revolver Picture’s Beneath

Revolver Picture Company has brought Ben Ketai, who helmed the 30 DAYS OF NIGHT sequel DARK DAYS, onboard to direct their upcoming horror-thriller BENEATH, according to Deadline.

Ketai, no stranger to our beloved genre, also helmed the web series 30 DAYS OF NIGHT: DUST TO DUST as well as producing the television series “The Resistance” and “Zombie Roadkill”. He most recently directed the Crackle Original Series “Chosen”.

Written by Patrick J. Doody and Chris Valenziano, BENEATH will focus on…

a team of coal miners and a headstrong female lawyer who are trapped underground when the mine collapses. Turns out they are not the only ones who want to get to the surface.

Revolver Picture Company was developed by former Dimension Films and Screen Gems executive Nick Phillips and veteran casting director Kelly Wagner with the intent to create elevated low budget genre films. BENEATH will be their first film.
