Twitch Film has debuted a trailer for DARK ISLAND (once known as INFECTED, as you can see), which they actually had a hand in producing. First impressions are “I wonder how they got the Smoke Monster from LOST considering his contractual obligations to that show”; and “It looks like they managed to make a good version of HOUSE OF THE DEAD.”

Dark Island is a hybrid of scifi, horror and action, the stroy revolving around a search and rescue mission to an island where secret military testing has gone wrong.

The film was directed by Sam Gorski and Niko Pueringer, and written by Simon Boyes and Gregory Gieras. No release date has been announced as of yet. Check out the trailer below and let us know what you think!
