Dark Mutants poster

When a poster has you stopped dead in your tracks because the imagery is so powerful then you know it’s a good poster, as is the case for the new teaser poster for David Morlet’s French horror film MUTANTS. This poster thing is all kinds of creepy and by golly, makes me want to check this flick out even though I haven’t heard squat about it before!

So what’s MUTANTS all about? Check this out: In a world devastated by a pandemic virus that turns human beings into primitive and bloodthirsty creatures, Marco and Sonia set off to find a secret base to escape from the ‘mutants’. When the latter attack them, Marco is infected too. Little by little, he undergoes the same changes. Sonia, who is expecting a baby, is then forced to fight her worst enemy, the man she loves.

Awesome. I think that about sums up the premise right there. Awesome. MUTANTS stars Hélène de Fougerolles and Francis Renaud, two people I have never heard of before, but then again… I’m not French! Though I’m pretty sure they’re not HUGE stars in France, they’ve both been in a number of projects and are probably recognizable to some.

Anyway the new teaser poster is just as awesome, if not more so, than the film’s synopsis. Would I check this beast out based on this poster alone? You know I would! Stick around for more MUTANTS updates, like when can we expect to check this badboy out–let’s hope it’s sooner rather than later.
