We’ve had a number of DARK SHADOWS updates so far this year… but nothing set in stone. Looks like we’re taking another step in that direction with today’s update!
If you scope the picture up above you’ll see that TimBurton.jp scored a look at Warner Brothers’ press schedule. And as you can see… they’ve got DARK SHADOWS pegged for a 2010 release date over in Japan. Which means a US release can’t be too far off. That’s pretty damn intriguing considering Burton hasn’t even been announced as director yet.
So what do you think? Should we be taking this one with a grain of salt or should we go ahead and throw caution to the wind? Personally I won’t beleive anything concerning DARK SHADOWS until I see Johnny Depp and company on set. Depp of course is still set to star. Burton is currently hard at work with ALICE IN WONDERLAND while Depp’s upcoming lineup includes THE RUM DIARY, RANGO, THE IMAGINARIUM OF DOCTOR PARNASSUS, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4, THE LONE RANGER, and of course… DARK SHADOWS.
