Well folks just last week Eric gave you all the detailed rundown of Darren Lynn Bousman’s mysterious 11-11-11. Here we are just a few days later and I’ve got some more 11-11-11 news for you!

Just in time for the holiday weekend Mr. Bousman has decided to launch a director’s blog for the flick, which is now filming in Barcelona, Spain. From across the globe Bousman plans on keeping us up to date with his entire production. Scope out a bit of what he had to say in his first post:

“This is NOT an exaggeration – everywhere we will be shooting looks, seems, or IS haunted. …. I am not sleeping much, because I am so inspired by the city, and the secrets my locations seem to hold. I am excited to finally be making a scary movie… I remember when Mother’s Day was screened — or SAW for that matter — critics would complain – ‘but it’s not scary…’ Mother’s Day, or SAW was never shot to be ‘scary.’”

So Bousman is tackling his first ‘scary’ flick… Intriguing. Here’s the nice detailed synopsis for you guys:

“After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his enstranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it’s a WARNING!”
