Last week I told you all how director Darren Lynn Bousman had started a director’s blog during production on his latest flick 11-11-11. Well I know you guys were excited about that so I’ve come here on this insanely slow Thursday morning to tell you all that Mr. Bousman has already updated said blog! Digging it? Of course you are.

While Bousman is yet to spill any details on the actual production of the flick we are treated to a little backstory about the filmmaker’s research on the film… And I’ve got to say, it sounds like he came across some jacked up stuff. Don’t take my word for it though, scope out a bit of the blog entry:

“However, in my research of 11 11 11, I found myself becoming increasingly more and more unsettled… There was a point at which I got utterly depressed… No longer was I researching horror movies, made-up monsters, or things that went bump in the night. I was seeing REAL people, doing really horrible things…”

See what I mean? Seems Bousman went head first into this one and barely came out. No cast has been announced yet but we do have a nice hefty synopsis for the flick:

After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone travels from the United States to Barcelona, Spain to reunite with his enstranged brother Samuel and dying father, Richard. However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings, and the constant sightings of the number 11. Curiosity quickly turns to obsession, and Joseph soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion. Isolated in a foreign country with only the support of his companion, Sadie, Joseph soon realizes that 11/11/11 is more than just a date, it’s a WARNING!

Be sure to keep your eyes on Bousman’s blog right over HERE for more updates as we await the film’s November 11, 2011 release date.
