Updated! Dave Bautista fights for his life in Exclusive Escape Plan 3 clips!

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Lionsgate is giving ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS, the third film in the ESCAPE PLAN franchise, a Digital 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Combo Pack, and DVD release on July 2nd, and I'm hyped to check it out.

I'm excited because I'll always watch anything Sylvester Stallone makes, plus this one was filmed in a place I know very well, the old Ohio State Reformatory, which gets turned into a haunted house attraction every fall. Another reason to be excited: action like the bone-crunching fight featured in the EXCLUSIVE clip from the film that we have embedded below.

In this clip we see wrestler turned cinematic badass Dave Bautista and one of the film's villains beating the hell out of each other. This violent moment is followed by a behind-the-scenes look at the film's main bad guy, played by Devon Sawa. And the video under that shows you a behind the scenes look at how Dave Bautista and his double achieved that fight!

Directed by John Herzfeld from a screenplay he wrote with Miles Chapman, who also wrote both previous ESCAPE PLANs, ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS tells the following story:

After security expert Ray Breslin (Stallone) is hired to rescue the kidnapped daughter of a Hong Kong tech mogul from a formidable Latvian prison, Breslin’s girlfriend (Jaime King) is also captured. Now he and his team, which includes Dave Bautista and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, must pull off a deadly rescue mission to confront their sadistic foe and save the hostages before time runs out.

Check out the clip below, and if you're looking forward to ESCAPE PLAN: THE EXTRACTORS like I am, you can pre-order the Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Combo Pack at THIS LINK.

Special features include:

Audio commentary with director John Herzfeld, Sylvester Stallone, Devon Sawa, and Daniel Bernhardt

The Making of Escape Plan: The Extractors Featurette, which features never-before-seen cast and crew interviews that explain what it took to make this white-knuckle film.
