I really enjoyed Dave Franco's THE RENTAL (read my review here). While not quite as terrifying as some have claimed, as a frequent AirBnB user it definitely scratched a pretty serious horror itch for me, and I'm happy to see that it topped the box office this weekend, such as it is. While it's $421K gross may not be much, it's the first new movie to top the box office in weeks, with re-releases pretty much the only game in town. In fact, the number 2, 3 & 4 movies were THE KARATE KID, THE GOONIES & JURASSIC PARK.

While on the topic of THE RENTAL, check out the interviews our own JimmyO did last week with the gang that made the film!
