THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL really is the perfect vehicle for Reeves’ trademark brand of wooden acting. However, from the looks of the first teaser, it’s almost as if he’s trying to be an emotionless boob. Dude, just do what you do and you’re golden! Aside from that, however, the film, which centers on Klaatu’s discovery of Earth and his warning of impending doom, looks like a decently atmospheric and earth-destroyingly good time. Click through
