There is a second remake of George A. Romero's 1985 zombie classic DAY OF THE DEAD in existence as we speak, although a release date for the film has not yet been announced. Judging by the website of production company Millennium Films, when the remake does reach screens it might have a slightly different title than the original film and the 2008 remake. DAY OF THE DEAD might have a subtitle this time around.
On the Millennium website, the remake's title is listed as DAY OF THE DEAD: BLOODLINE. Also featured on the site is a new piece of sales art, which can be seen below and sports the goofball tagline "Love Means Never Having to Say You're a Zombie".
That may be the case, but love also means that you should advise your loved one not to use an over-used subtitle. I think the world of entertainment could do without any more projects that have "Bloodline" or "Bloodlines" in their title, at least for a while. There are plenty. You don't stand out by being called Bloodline(s). Just within genre sequels we already have HELLRAISER: BLOODLINE, WRONG TURN 5: BLOODLINES, and TREMORS 5: BLOODLINES. A DAY OF THE DEAD remake doesn't need to be added into the mix.
Not that we really even need another remake of DAY OF THE DEAD, subtitle or not.

In a post-apocalyptic, zombie-filled society, a former med school student is tormented by a dark figure from her past. The only thing is, he’s a half-human, half-zombie hell-bent on destroying her world.
I still don't understand how someone can be "half-human, half-zombie".
The remake stars Sophie Skelton, Lorina Kamburova, Marcus Vanco, Nick Loeb, Rachel O’Meara, Debbie Sherman, Luke Cousins, Nathan Cooper, Cristina Serafini, and Johnathon Schaech as a zombie named Max.
