It must be DAYBREAKERS week here at AITH because we’ve had some major updates for you all throughout the week! First there was that familiar poster that got released at the beginning of the week. Then the other day we told you about the official site for the flick going live. So we’ve got a new poster and a new site… what’s missing? A new trailer!
And that’s exactly what we have for all of you today over in our videos section! Just scroll down below to check that out. Personally I’ve got no idea what to think of DAYBREAKERS. The trailer starts with some heavy potential but then keeps getting knocked down a rung as the trailer goes on. What the hell is going on in this flick?
Two-time Academy Award nominee® Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.
Oh alright. Yeah I’m not really feeling it… The flick does sport an interesting cast in Ethan Hawke, Willem Dafoe, Isabel Lucas (below), Sam Neill, and Claudia Karvan and comes from directors Michael and Peter Spierig.
