So it seems like DEAD SNOW director Tommy Wirkola is gearing up to open up a gateway to hell in a new television series. Hey the dude already gave us Nazi zombies so I’d assume a gateway to Hell is the next logical step, right?
The news is coming our way from the international site Norsk Film Institutt, which has Wirkola working on a television series called “Hell Fjord.” So what’s this little diddy about? Well besides the whole gateway to Hell thing. Check it:
A new horror comedy series that will feature Salmander, an unorthodox policeman who is banished to a small city in Finland. There he finds a truly bizarre village that may actually be the gateway to Hell.
Sounds intriguing enough, right? What do you guys think? Worth giving a shot or should we wait for more on “Hell Fjord” before we offer any sort of opinions? Sounds a lot like HOT FUZZ to me except instead of a town full of psychopaths we’ve got a town that holds the Gateway to Hell.
This shite is geared up to start production this May with a 2012 premiere planned. As always we’ll be keeping our eyes and ears open for more on “Hell Fjord” and will be keeping you updated on the project until it’s 2012 release.
